This is a floor we just completed in Margate where the floor had a lot of surface scratches. The process we did on this floor is called, hardwood floor resurfacing or a screen & coat. This is a process that takes 1 day and you can walk on the floors 6 to 8 hours after the job is complete. The greatest thing about this process is that it is DUSTLESS! This is how you should maintain your hardwood floors. Just like you have to clean your carpets or other things in your home, your hardwood floors need maintenance. This is the process that keeps you from needing a full hardwood floor refinishing on your floors. If you have deep gauges or you are seeing greyon your floor you have worn through your polyurethane which means you have to have them dully sanded.
