We met this client through a contractor we have done lots of work with over the years and went to the owner in their beautiful home that sits right on the beach in Sea Isle City. They intended to refinish their kitchen floor yet darken it slightly to match their kitchen better. We told them it is the owner doing their job, and they said they already knew, as they were told by the contractor Joe Carfagno is the best in the industry.
After meeting the client and discussing colors vs natural, they selected the darker Weathered Oak stain for their floors.
When you have hardwood floor refinishing done, all furniture must be off the floors and returned 72 hours after the job is complete. Luckily, this was in the kitchen, and hardly any furniture had to be moved. It was a 2-day job, and the couple were luckily not at home when the floor was done, so it was plain sailing for Joe and the Extreme Floor Care team.
Extreme Floor Care prepped the area with plastic and got vacuums ready to remove dust, and sanded the floor to a raw state. Day one saw all the sanding, a cleanup, and then the Weathered Oak stain applied. Day 2 saw the floor receive two coats of polyurethane for appearance and complete protection.
This job came out great, and our client was thrilled with the outcome when they returned home. Joe indeed is the best at what he does, no matter what task he is set with floor refinishing.
